Awkwafina

Awkwafina She is an American actor and musician who began her career with clever hip-hop raps that addressed racial and sexual identity with an edgy and humorous perspective. She then expanded into Hollywood. She was born Nora Lum to Chinese and Korean immigrant parents in Forest Hills Queens her first taste of musician life came via the trumpet. After that, she took hip-hop and classical training. In college she focused on studies, concentrating in both journalism and women's issues. For a brief period of time, she was in Beijing and she also took classes in Mandarin. Following graduation, she decided to concentrate on music. Her song My Vag, a response track to the Mickey Avalon's My Dick gained viral popularity via the Internet during 2012. It would later be included in her first album Yellow Ranger released in 2014. The album included other sensational hits such as body-positive Queef as well as the wink-inducing hometown tour NYC Bitche$. This song was also featured in the Awkwafina's NYC travel guide published in the year 2015. After establishing herself as a performer and author and a writer, she chose to assume acting roles. Along with the early TV shows such as Girl Code, Tawk and Bad Rap she also appeared in films like Neighbors and Storks. She made her debut in 2018 and appeared in several notable films like Dude Ocean's 8 and Crazy Rich Asians. The EP came out in June.
