Patricia Apollonia Kotero has been model and actress in the United States over a long period of time. Kotero was the female lead performer for Apollonia 6 and co-starred in Prince's film Purple Rain from 1984. In the 1980s, the singer-actress Prince christened Apollonia was one of many female musicians that gained by their connection with the prince. Born Patricia Kotero in Santa Monica California in 1959, her work began as a model and actress by the end of the '70s and included an appearance on the TV show CHiPS. In 1984, Patricia Kotero was chosen to play the lead lady in Prince's Purple Rain. Through the years, she remained an active actress with minor film roles and small TV shows. In 1997, Apollonia recorded a bilingual album in Spanish and English entitled Stay with me.
