Antonia's cuisine is a means to enter her mind. Food she cooks up is a result of her interest in the culture in Los Angeles, which was sparked by a trip to Los Angeles from Long Island's suburbs. Cavatelli, carnitas, and various other cuisines can be found in a single menu. The menu is constantly evolving taste. All of her meals she draws a picture that is distinct and speaks to nostalgia for the past. Scopa Italian Roots, which Lofaso founded in 2013, was a huge success because it was inspired by her Italian roots. Lofaso's interpretation of traditional Italian has been called one of Los Angeles' most compelling Italian restaurant chains. Lofaso consistently serves excellent dishes at Scopa which is a favorite of the neighborhood. The patrons call it authentic and satiating. Lofaso studied under some of famous chefs and mastered their methods but she never scared to challenge her own sense of. She worked closely with many stars and quickly rose up the ranks of Wolfgang Puck's Spago. Lofaso along with Sal Aurora partnered in 2011 to launch Black Market Liquor Bar Studio City. The Lofaso had found a home at Black Market. Lofaso would find the freedom to express her creativity that she desired through this collaboration. Black Market does not have one direction and this is its intention. This course would begin with potato chips flavored with dill Shishito peppers, then follow up with Korean Wings. Lofaso assessed her success in the field in part by her ability to both understand and be genuine to her audience. Her unforgettable performance of Top Chef Chicago and Top Chef: All Stars showcased her uniqueness outside of the kitchen and her talents are still shining in front of the camera as a Judge on the CNBC's Restaurant Startup and recurring role on the Food Network's Cutthroat Kitchen Man vs. Child as well as ABC's Real O'neals. Lofaso worked with Penguin for the release of The Busy Mom's Cookbook 100 Recipes for Quick Delicious home-cooked Meals in 2012. This cookbook also tells the story of her struggle while raising Xea as well as her studies at The French Culinary Institute. Lofaso believes that her achievements are the result of her love of cooking. She is capable of keeping her finger in the middle of the industry through her work on her kitchen.
