Anne Celeste Heche is an American actress who is known for her many different kinds of roles across film, television, and theatre. She is best known for her role as Lieutenant Sheba in the Battlestar Galactica television series (1978-1979). She is a daughter of actress June Lockhart. Her grandfather was actor Gene Lockhart. Lockhart was very young when she began her acting career. In the age of four, Lockhart appeared in the film T is for Tumbleweed. The short film on the subject was chosen for nomination by the Academy Awards. The actress would often be seen on the set along with her mother so she could learn the intricacies of business. Lockhart has even appeared in numerous Lassie episodes. Dora in Jory was her debut film in the year 1972. In 1972, she was 18 years old when she portrayed her character as the daughter of Joan Crawford on The Sixth Sense. This was her last role as an actor. Rumor has it that Anne refused to play Laurie Strode, the character in the horror film of John Carpenter's movie Halloween. The part was played by Jaime Lee Curtis.
